The grass is always greener when it’s on the bed…

That’s one “GREEN” bed!

I came across this photo on the HGTVwebsite.  Now come on, who plants grass on the top of a bed?  Granted this is a rooftop garden and the bed is meant to be seating, but I still think this is one bizarre design idea…

I wonder how they mow this bed?!

Isn’t it obvious? Artificial grass…

I think it’s quite lovely and whimsical and am a bit surprised at your post. Why not plant grass on a bed as a creative seating solution for a ceiling?
Here’s another one, different concept (was done for the Chelsea flower show in 2007, but IMHO just as (if not more) lovely:

Why so suprised Lisa, every one has different likes and dislikes when it comes to decorating and design. I like things that are a bit more practical and functional…
Different strokes for different folks!!

Thanks for your attachments, they are quite nice!
