I’ve been wanting to review Ginger for weeks – but every time I was in Neve Tsedek in Tel Aviv I forgot my camera. This place is such a feast for the eyes – I just wanted to close the curtains, kick everyone out and move in.
Vibrant. Color. Everywhere. Seriously.
All of the bedding and towels in the store is from Benetton – my favorite clothing company in high school (20 years ago). I won’t wear their clothes anymore (mutton dressed as lamb anyone?) but bedding is still fair game. And what fantastic colors for bedding they are as well.
The pillows, table linens and other fabric accessories are amazing patterned pieces that mix color in a big gorgeous jumble.
Pink, turquoise and orange – oh my! Insane color combination – yet it works.
To go along with the magical colorful textile accessories, Ginger has painted metal trays, cups and bowls.
And the colored glass table top accessories are divine as well.
It’s amazing how much stuff they have been able to put in this space without it being overwhelming. Especially considering how much color and pattern is everywhere.
In the store my favorite pieces were the tablecloth above (which I think I seriously need to own.)

And one of the least colorful items in the store – the gray-blue painted metal suitcase. I just love the color and shininess of it.

i used to wear benetton in high school too….love their color scheme. will remember this store and hope to make it to tel aviv one day
