Tchochkes

I have a real thing for pottery. I just love hand made things and Israel happens to have some of the most amazing ceramic artists I’ve ever seen.

Chomer Tov is an artist owned and run store in Neve Tzedek in south TA and the whole place is filled with beautiful handmade pottery.

Having functional art pieces in your kitchen makes daily tasks a joy instead of a chore.

Some of my favorite pieces on their site were the bottles (left) by Varda Bar Shamai, the white teapot and mugs by Shula Volk, and the whimsical peeled lemon lidded teapot (below) by Esther Alterman.
