Spring inspired decorating

Room by Better Homes and Gardens

When the first tiny chrocus’ pop their heads out among the grass you know that it’s time for  Spring decorating.  Adding an uplifting color or a flowery print to a room can help this theme emerge and bloom.  There are so many great colors and patterns to choose from.  I went hunting and this is what I found.

The ultimate Spring palettte is soft and creamy.  I love the combination of robins egg blue with spring green and yellow.  The photos above are all great examples of new product lines for Spring.

Pier 1 Imports has great wrought iron outdoor furniture with mosaic accents.  Adding color to an outdoor sitting area gives it a warm and cozy feeling.  Pottery Barn has is a good example of tonal Spring color palettes or flip through current issues of Better Homes and Gardens, Good House Keeping, Country Home and others for ideas and inspiration.  You just might find yourself toting a paint brush sometime soon…

Patti, great results from your hunt for fresh spring decor! Loved your yellows and blues, so sharp and crisp for this time of year. And we can’t wait to go planting in our gardens either!
