Designer review: Vera Bradley

by Patti Boker Elkon on February 16, 2010

Vera Bradley, a designer known for her whimsical, colorful prints  now offers a small line of outdoor rugs.  I love the prints in her collection.  Mostly popular for her series of hand bags and accessories, Vera Bradley has made a mark as a kitsch new design concept.

These outdoor carpets  are extremely vivid.  I love the idea of adding color to the environment.  What a nice break form the tweed navy, tan and greens that are the usual choices when shopping for outdoor products.

Every rug has it’s own personality.  A bright, versatile palette can easily meld into various color stories.

Subject specific rugs like the one shown here are fun and add a touch of nostalgia as a decorative concept.  Vera Bradley’s  line of outdoor rugs are a breath of fresh air.
