CONTEST: Sterling Pear Keepsake Chest (US only – sorry)

by Shira Abel Shvo on December 25, 2009

[This contest has now ended.]

Christmas is now over and the New Year is here. It’s time to reorganize and get things sorted. To celebrate the ending of the holidays and the ending of quite frankly a rather meh year for many, we here at Tchochkes thought it would be great to begin 2010 with a stunning Sterling Pear giveaway.

Sterling_Pear_Keepsake_Chest

One of the owners of Sterling Pear, Janet Hayden, is someone I grew up with in Huntington Beach, CA. and she’s one of the nicest, most positive women you’ll ever meet. Seriously. So nice, that she’s willing to give readers of Tchochkes a  discount of 15% off your entire order on www.SterlingPear.com by using the coupon code “TCHOCHKES10″ at checkout by January 31, 2010 in addition to this months raffle contest.

Contest Details:

Win a Sterling Pear Keepsake Chest – which can be used for storing anything you consider precious (such as your baby’s first shoes or your Star Trek figure collection). The contest ends on January 4th, 2010 and is good for US residents only. (UNLESS – you are madly in love with the chest. Shipment outside of the U.S. will be the responsibility of the winner. ie Sterling Pear can take your FedEX, UPS account # and ship it to you – the chest will be free, shipping no. And yes, I know this isn’t great for all of our international readers – but there will be more contests – we promise!)

There’s more: Be sure to add your contact email. Contest open to US residents ages 18 and over. Winner will be announced on a blog post. If winner fails to respond in three days a new winner will be chosen. Winner will be chosen at random by Sterling Pear.

The winner gets the chest – not the tchochkes inside. That’s for you to fill.

How to Enter:

There are several ways to enter this raffle and each will get you one “ticket”:

  1. Make a comment on this post stating why you would like to win the chest
  2. Follow @Tchochkes on Twitter and tweet: ” @Tchochkes: Win a Sterling Pear Keepsake Chest until January 4th, 2010 http://bit.ly/55Kbmo “

I keep a memory box for my daughter — but it’s in a Rubbermaid tub! Would love to replace that with this.

I would love to win this to keep all of our pictures in. I often find special pictures just on the floor and it drives me mad! I would love a place to keep them! Thanks for the chance!

I would love to win this to fill with my kids’ keepsakes. I am currently moving more than I would like and this would keep those precious items together and intact. More than I can say for the piano right now…

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary this year and we have an overflowing “memory box” that is full of things I would prefer to keep in something larger and safer. This keepsake chest would be so nice to have! Thanks for the giveaway chance.

What a coincidence Sterling Pear – my sister ordered an ornament organizer box from them last year. I helped her trim her tree this year and got to see it. Wow – it sure beats my plastic tote!
I would love to win it not only for it’s sheer aesthetic value, I mean you could fill it and then add it as a decorative piece around your home. My favorite – practical beauty.
Plus I mean come on – how nice would it be to have my sister over to see MY Sterling Pear!!

I would love to win this to store some collectibles that right now are cluttering up my china cabinet. Things like these look so much better when they are displayed individually, instead of in a crowded setting. I don’t have anywhere safe for storage – this is a great idea!

Thank you for a great New Year giveaway!

This Keepsake box is indeed gorgeous, and I would love to have it for my granddaughter. She is a creative and multi-talented young lady with a wide range of interests and a HUGE collection of treasures, from her own art projects and needlework to rocks, jewelry, figurines, and tiny containers of fairy dust she’s acquired over the years. If she has a special, safe place for keeping these memories, she can have them forever.

This box would be wonderful to keep the special memories of my mother and the christening outfits of my children. Right now they are in a cedar chest that will soon be going to my daughter leaving me with no special place for these valued possessions. The chest will be a secure place to keep the old and also newly collected treasures.
