Color comes in all shapes and sizes and there are many options when it comes to adding color to a space.  Take a look around, from window treatments to rugs, a colorful room can be achieved without ever lifting a paint brush.  Even a small dose of a new color or two can liven up a room.  Here’s how you can find inspiration and add a few colorful additions to your space.

Tips:

*  Fabrics are a nice alternative to art work.  If you want to spice up a couch or bed just add a few colorful cushions.

*  Rugs add warmth and color in the same breath.  Placing a rug on a bare wood floor will turn the room around.

*  Window Treatments are a great way to add obvious color.  Covering a bare window with a textured colorful fabric will add indefinite comfort and warmth.

*  Artwork is a great way to bring your self expression out in the open.  An entire room can be modeled after colors from one masterpiece.

*  Flowers and fauna are not only colorful, they add a living element to a space with a bonus of changing the color on a weekly basis.
