New Build in Ramat Hen, a suburb of Tel Aviv

Outside Before

This gorgeous new house in Ramat Hen was built in part by exercising the practices of Feng Shui. Working in conjunction with the architect and client, I put together this inspiration / color board as a guide to be used during the building process.

Inspirational Color Palette

Here’s how the inspiration board works. In the T.V. room just off of the kitchen, the client added a sky blue couch and a collection of red, green and botanical patterned pillows.

I love working on “new builds”, it is a clean slate on which to make a dream come true. Many times the finished product is a direct reflection of the original inspiration board. Here are some before & after shots that display this process.
Before

This house has a central staircase that can be seen upon entering. The high ceilings and bright light from the many srrounding windows highlight this bold architectural element.
Staircase after

We used subtle color in a few places to enhance decorative accents like floor and wall tiles seen here in the master bathroom. The bathtub is an inexpensive, standard tub. I think it looks quite upscale and stylish when used with other well designed details.

After
*Take note of the light gray used here to accent the granite tile around the tub.

After

A bedroom niche designed for the display of family photos was painted the same color as the dominant walls, while the accent wall was painted a khaki green. The room will eventually be furnished around this accent wall color to tie it all together.

There are still many things that need to be added to this house to make it a home. I will do my best to update this project in a future post.

Love the house design, all the colors, can you show more of the plan, and different rooms? –a
Unfortunately, I don’t have more photos. It is an absolutely beautiful home!

That home is so serene! I could move in a heartbeat! LOL but for my next home! I’m trying to make the best of a temporary place and your site is inspiring! Keep up the great work!
